The Palmyra First Church Vision Team was instrumental
in helping Palmyra First sponsor a Blessing of the Pets.
About 14 dogs were present in person along another
being represented by a picture. In addition, we also had a
stuffed pet join in the blessing.

The group is already planning for a bigger event next
year, so save the date of Saturday, October 14, 2023 for
our next Blessing of the Pets. We will be inviting an
animal rescue organization, a veterinarian, and pet
supply store to join in the festivities. If you have a
connection to pet related business and are willing to help
make contact with them, please let the church office
know.

The Team continues to lay the groundwork for Celebrate
Recovery, a ministry for those with hurts, hang-ups, and
habits of all kinds. We expect to begin the program at
Palmyra First after Easter 2023. This gives us time to have
all the facilitators and background workers in place, and
advertising and supplies we will need for a successful
